Kester Cunningham John 8 Scottish Courage 16

Scotco were determined to improve upon the last performance where their lack of fitness (and speed?) shone through. Kester got off the blocks quickest taking a 2-0 lead. Stevie then pulled one back then in a majestic spell of football we notched another 5 goals without reply with both Scott and Will bagging in two apeice.
This steadied Scotco down and they played some eye catching football with the defenders closing down well and with neat one-twos and plenty of running off the ball this made all the difference. Billy the Cat made several important stops on one occasion diving like a salmon on top of the ball to prevent it from going over the line.
Scotco continued to attack and it was no surprise to see Scotco continue to dominate to take a healthy 9-4 interval lead.
Will was having his best game in Scotco colours (or should i say hi-vis vests!!) as indeed was Scotty and Reevesy. The passing was accurate and deadly on occasions with Stevie continuing his run of good form notching another four to bring his season's tally to 15.Scotty likewise netted four. Will banged in five with Reevesy and the hard working Phil netting one apiece with one own goal.
Billy the Cat's distribution was great in that he managed to distribute the ball perfectly on 3 occasions for us to score (no doubt you want the 3 assist points Bill!).
A special mention to Scotty and Stevie who played the full game throughout, as did the cat.
Scotco ran out 16-8 winners in a very sporting encounter against a very well turned out Kester Cunningham and John who themselves looked good in patches.
Overall easily the best team performance of the season with the side keeping shape well and always supporting each other.
