BT ENGINEERING 5 HIGHCROSS 0Another clean sheet for butterfingersOn a lovely April evening BT looked to keep their unbeaten run going. Injuries to Woodsy and Hardingham meant that BT had to draught in another ageing BT player, Stuart a mere 42 in age. The game started with Highcross piling men forward while BT probed for an opening. BT started to get into their passing and goals from Bart and Stuart from a dubious/ not meant I think pass from Bart put BT in control. As usual the defence was being marshalled well by Richard and Pat and Sharpy was running his legs off as usual. Poor shooting from Highcross was their downfall and BT took advantage with further goals from Alan, Stuart and a deflective shot which Richard Nicholls had the cheek to claim. Another good display from the old boys of BT with Steve Butterfingers in goal making numerous good saves and letting nothing slip. With just one game left BT are looking to get through the season. The number of clean sheets has also been pleasing but this has been down to the hardwork of the team as a whole including the stand-ins for whom we are grateful!Man of the match: Steve butterfingers despite making back passes look like genius saves!
