Norfolk FA have taken over the leasehold of the Powerleague Centre at Bowthorpe in Norwich with plans in place to rename it the Football Development Centre (FDC). The statement was posted on its website HERE. The Norwich evening news also posted info about it HERE. It appears the site is to be revamped, interesting times ahead! Also mentioned....

Break Charity are hosting a community day

Break Charity are hosting a community day on Sunday 21st June 2009 (see Whats On for contact details). They are holding a 5 a side football tournament for adults and they have hour long sessions for the children from 10am - 4pm. There is massage and pampering as well as craft and art stall's.

Would you like to see more small sided football leagues in and around Norwich? If so, I would like to know about it. You can Go HERE or leave a comment, clicking on the title above will take you there (members only). Maybe you would like to see more organized leagues as an alternative to the Powerleague? With Veterans football on the increase, maybe a vets league? It might be that you are a bunch of lads looking for other teams to simply give you a friendly game, in which case, maybe a friendly league. With the Rogers and Norton League ONLY open to company professional teams you may like to see a friendly casual league that is open to all? Whatever you would
