Hi there and happy new year to all.
We have a team in Norwich Union Ops Support and play the Travellers Protection Services guys from your league on a fairly regular basis. We would love to join the league in whichever format, but would be less keen on Powerleague - would love to join the current setup.
Thanks
Chris

I think the powerleague pitchs are best suited for 5 A side where the UEA & Pinebanks are to big and best suited for 7 A side. That said i agree with Kev on the R & N three week Match format.
WHAT ABOUT A 7 A SIDE LEAGUE.....

The games played up the UEA are usually played as 6 a side anyway under agreement with the opposition. A 7 a side league means teams NEED to get 7 regular players and maybe a couple of subs where as its much easier to call it 5 a side and both sides agree to play 6 or 7 a side up the UEA or Pinebanks. Some teams also use inside venues which lend themselves to 5 a side max. If there was a demand for 7 a side then I would maybe consider setting something up.
